Meet Sofie Muench, LMSW
Hi there! I'm a bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist with a Mexican background. I am passionate about supporting Latinx, LGBTQ+, immigrant, and bilingual communities. I strive to provide a warm and culturally sensitive space for healing. I’ve worked in hospitals, correctional facilities, and treatment centers where I supported clients with eating disorders. I also help people manage anxiety, depression, trauma, family systems, life transitions, and identity-related challenges. My approach is compassionate and client-centered. I use evidence-based therapies like CBT and DBT, and tailor treatment to your unique needs. I believe in the power of connection, care, transparency and understanding in the healing process.
I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Georgia and Maine, currently under supervision of Christina Garwis, LICSW as I work toward my LCSW.
