How much does it cost?
Do you offer online video sessions?
Ask whether telehealth is available for your clinician, service and physical location at the time of the appointment. Call 770-946-2312 to discuss eligibility and current availability. After an appointment is arranged, the office will explain the approved connection process and practical requirements. Choose a private setting and discuss access concerns before your visit. Do not send clinical information through public website forms or social messages.
What should I expect after I schedule an appointment?
Sessions usually last 50 minutes and the frequency is determined by your goals. Most people come once a week, or once every 2 weeks. In the first session, your clinician gets to know you and what you would like from counseling. Feeling a little nervous at first is common.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment for any reason, please call our offices at 770.946.2312 at least 48 business hours in advance of your scheduled appointment. Not doing so will result in being billed at the full rate. Your clinician sets this time aside for you.
Which insurance plans do you work with?
We work with Amerigroup, Ambetter, Peach State, CareSource, Medicare, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, Humana, Optum / UnitedHealthcare and its subsidiaries, Oscar, TRICARE, and these employee assistance programs: Lyra, ComPsych, Curalinc, Magellan, Optum EAP, BCBS EAP and Aetna EAP. Coverage depends on your plan, clinician, and service. Couples counseling coverage is not automatic; check your plan. See our insurance page.
Where is your office?
Our office is at 602 Dogwood Trail, Suite H, Tyrone, GA 30290. We also offer counseling by telehealth to clients anywhere in Georgia.
Which clinicians offer counseling in the office?
Darnell Blocker, LPC, and Amelia Simpson-Morales, LAMFT, offer counseling in person in Tyrone and by telehealth. Twyanna Cadogan, LPC, Sofie Muench, LCSW, and Moya Grant, LPC, offer counseling by telehealth at this time.
Do you offer counseling in other languages?
Sofie Muench, LCSW, offers counseling in English or Spanish.
What ages do you see?
We see clients ages 6–75, subject to assessment, clinician and service fit, and availability.
What kinds of counseling do you offer?
Individual counseling; couples, marital and premarital counseling; family counseling; and child and teen counseling, including play therapy. See our services page for the areas we focus on.
What are your office hours?
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We are closed on Sunday. Call 770-946-2312.
