Individual, Family, and Couples Counseling
In the first few sessions we will open discussion by getting to know each other and exploring what life stressors brought you into therapy at this time. This will be conducted by biopsychosocial assessment, where you will be asked in detailed questions for best understanding your history, the present circumstances, and get to the root cause of what is causing your suffering. The therapy process will proceed at the pace you are comfortable with. Typically, counseling sessions are 45-50 minutes long.
Along with any ongoing daily struggles that arise out of our relationships, we are licensed and experienced in working with persons struggling with anger, low self-esteem, trauma, blended family issues, divorce and remarriage, and children/teens, who are struggling with various developmental, emotional, and behavioral problems. We also work with persons, whom may be having LGBT challenges, loss, anger management, communication struggles, as well as, affective disorders (depression, anxiety, bipolar, etc.).
Disappointment and pain happen. With these life discrepancies, it has been taught that this is something we learn to avoid at an early age. Emotional and mental pain is much different, and more difficult to find liberation from. Together, we can explore discuss your possibilities. Pain happens - it does not have to be foothold in your life.
Conditions treated: Depression, Anxiety, Anger, Domestic Violence, Mood Disorders, Trauma/PTSD, Low Self-Esteem, Men’s Issues, and Relationship Issues.
We work with children from ages 8 years through high school, whom have been struggling with emotional, cognitive, or behavioral problems surrounding depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, considering or attempting suicide, self-injurious behavior (cutting, drug/alcohol use, etc.), academic problems, relationship problems, family problems, etc. We trust strongly in working systemically by involving the family, school, and social networks when appropriate. We would like to work with parents to improve parenting skills, as needed. Our teens in society have been seen or perceived often, as confused as you may have been, about why they act the way they do. Strengthening the minds of our teenagers to gain emotional, mental, and physical control over themselves is what we strive for. Let us work together to give the child you care about the opportunity to be in better control of their actions.

We do very detailed premarital work to work towards your forevership; We will use various tools, including the Five Love Languages Book & Online Quiz to identify the each other’s language and love cup within the relationship. We have the goal to empower your relationship as much as possible and to develop skills to minimize dissolution of relationship/marriage in the future. Marriage Counseling is not solely for crises, but, as mentioned above, can be utilized for sharpening the marriage for regular maintenance with one another. Communication, finances, and intimacy are three areas within the marriage we can discuss to strengthen skills needed for sustaining your union. Couples/Marriage Counseling is an investment together to have the best union you both desire as one.
Presently many providers have been using telehealth as a response to COVID-19, we have seen this option more than temporary access, as we have now will use this option in the long term. We do use a HIPPA compliant platform alongside offering flexible scheduling, so that you can attend counseling via laptop or cell phone with camera without having to obtain a babysitter or even changing out of your comfortable clothing. Telehealth also allows us to see individuals, families, and couples in the inside and outside of the Atlanta area.

In Office Therapy
We do indeed offer in-office therapeutic services at the address of 110 Habersham Drive, Suite 116, Fayetteville, GA 30214. Due to COVID-19 circumstances, we have limited caseloads and these appointments are have been scarce. Despite these circumstances, you can still inquire of availability, if you have in-office preference for services.
