
Meet Laurel McClendon, APC
Laurel McClendon is a graduate of Georgia State University and John F. Kennedy University. She received her Masters in Counseling Psychology, with concentrations in Community-based Therapy & Marriage and Family Therapy. With over 15 years of experience working with individuals and families, she is passionate about meeting clients where they are in life and serving as a supportive professional to help her client's experience a sense of relief.

Life is stressful, whether it is because of an expected milestone or an unexpected stressor such as divorce or the loss of a loved one, and Mrs. McClendon specializes in helping the people she works with in identifying a goal and the way that they can reach that goal. Laurel works with children, adolescents, college-age/young adults, and adults of all ages.

Some areas of concerns that she has worked extensively with clients during her many years of experience include: anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, family conflict/parenting, gender/sexuality, self-esteem, life/career coaching, anger management, and identity formation/stressors. At the end of the day, she wants to be part of your healing process and growth in whatever way you may need.
