Meet Eboni Martin, LMFT

Hello! My name is Eboni Martin. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I completed my education at The University of Northern Iowa and Valdosta State University. I studied Family Services and Marriage and Family Therapy consecutively. During my studies I discovered my passions of encouraging, empowering, and educating individuals and families. With 15 years of experience as a therapist, providing care with compassion, excellence, and integrity are my priorities.

In today’s times the need for therapy is great. If we lived in a perfect world, we would all have an innate sense of self-awareness, everyone would have healthy supportive families, and we would know how to lead fulfilling relationships, careers, and lives in general. Unfortunately, that is not the world we live in. Additionally, our fast-paced lives often leave very little room to explore our self, thoughts, feelings, habits, relationship, and we become unaware of our needs. These challenges and others often contribute to struggle and stuck points in our lives.

Therapy is a very private and personal process that provides a safe space to explore self and the areas you would like to see growth in. We will comfortably move at your pace to help you gain insight and learn essential skills to become the best version of you, the authentic person you were designed to be. As a therapist I aim to provide a client-centered, understanding, accepting, and empathetic space for clients to do the work. Taking an honest look at one’s self and making changes can be hard but it is necessary for growth. The insights gained through the therapy process can be quite transformative and you are totally worth it.
I have worked with clients from a wide range of human conditions including, but not limited to: mood and affective disorders, anxiety, relational difficulties, trauma, ADHD, self-esteem, goal setting, empowerment, parenting struggles, anger management, and stress management. To help clients move toward holistic wellness I utilize multiple modalities of therapy, some include: Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, and EMDR. Every healing and growth process is unique which is why I specifically tailor the care to fit the individual served.

Empowering others to achieve their goals and become their whole authentic self is my passion and purpose. Doing so allows me to fulfill my mission of positively impacting and strengthening the world we live in. I am naturally curious, a lifelong learner, open-minded, and I truly value personal growth. When I am not working, I am intentionally living life fully. I love spending time with my family and friends, learning new concepts and ideas, reading, attending music festivals, traveling, and at times purposefully doing absolutely nothing. Guiding individuals and families through life’s struggles to a place of peace and wellness is a privilege. If I am a good fit for you as a therapist, I would be honored to share the gift of psychotherapy with you.
